Hey Joey, have you considered using a series like this to upgrade your gear? You could use a set starting budget and each season's goal would be to obtain a certain piece of equipment. Just a thought I've had since you mention episode x for these.

I started my journey back in 2021 with this now, i blame you and tronicsfix. My history on this. PS4 = £35 (blod, irreparable stripped it and tried the washer fix) good spare parts managled apu only. Xbox series s = £22 spillage (the tiny resistor are shot smd) i could repair this bus smd resistors. Gamegear = Resistor hook instead of trace repair mangelef and dead. Gameboy pocket = corrosion on back of board. Successes Joypads = PS4, xbox1 Switch lite (£65) = joystick repair Xbox one original = £9 dogey adapter Other notable failure GBP 2 and 3 = screen moded then and overspend. PSP = 4 successful screeb repair PS Vita = screen repair Have to say this right now ps vita is wow honestly sonycan create a repairable console.

IP alcohol and a tooth brush and it shoukd be ok for the liquid damage one. The past owner of that liquid damage switch was a little bit of a savage,liquid,usb C cracked wth?

I need to say this Joey, but the first one was and is an easy fix, and there should be no problem in selling it. As long as you tell in the description, the truth, trust me if the price is good, someone will buy it.

True, and I understand, but the damage is not great and not on BGA components. Just caps and resistors. Plus this way you can recoup some of the money invested. As it was, the console was working so it had potential. @@Morscode_Gaming

If I have water damage I prefer to remove the cpu cover to inspect the area around CPU and RAM, if I see corrosion the board will be a donor board...

You should get an ultrassonic cleaner. I have fixed many devices with liquid damage just by tossing them in there and letting it dry on top of a dehumidifier.

“Profit & Loss” who makes all the “Profit?” Well you buy off eBay, then you sell on eBay! The winners are eBay & PayPal. Profit from the sale when the person sold it to you, and again when you sell it on eBay. Who knows if this has changed hands three, four or five times previously? The only ones really profiting are eBay’s and PayPal, and it some cases, over and over on the same items. Just something to ponder on when people come to resell items they have bought on certain online auctions. 👌😎🤘m-E-m

Tbh I don't think k faulty switches are worth the bother to try and fix when you get them off ebay etc ad they can be easily water damaged
