I Paid £280 For This Faulty STEAM DECK | Did I Get Ripped Off?

I bought this VALVE Steam Deck off of from off eBay. It does power on, but doesn't boot. I suspect the SSD needs replacing... Or does it?
And will that be all that's wrong with it? #spolier no it's not.
