A well known japanese desert made out of glutinous rice is mochi. This particular preparation of mochi is called dango. - Cebu style longganiza: pronounced "se-bu", a region of the Philippines, and longaniza is a type of Spanish sausage. -Fresh lumpia (“lum-piá"): forgot what it is but also a philippino dish, really tasty! Edit: it's philippino for spring roll. -Embutido: means "stuffed" or sausages/cold cuts in spanish. Yeah, questionable... But home cooked would probably fine? Like family cooking. -General street food: dunno, I don't recognize it either... Looks like it could be latino food? -"Food" 20$: idk either man... But it linda looks like the embutido before rolling it up, so maybe another one of those dishes that are pre-prepared by the sellers and meant to be cooked by the buyers. -"Food" 1$: ????? -Wren's organic sourdough bread: ok Karen. (But nah, I guess they just got really into making their own sourdough starters and baking bread. Post-quarantine people will know) -Homemade peanuts, mani: maní is spanish for peanut in Latin America -Flan: Originally Spanish, but spread to their colonies Latin-America and the Philippines (both 300 years of colonization) back then, so there are many variations of flan and this looks like one of them. most of these were filipino food. the rice balls are called carioca. the embutido is made out of ground pork, carrots, hard boiled eggs, some recipes include raisins. the embutido can be steamed or fried depending on your preference. the street food were also filipino. from what i saw there were deep fried quail eggs. the ones on the stick are called isaw. they can be made from chicken or pig intestines but the seller was selling pig isaw. chicken isaw is skewered in a squiggly way. isaw is grilled with a sweet umami sauce.

Glutinous (not gluttonous haha) rice is a type of sticky rice. The rice, or sometimes the glutinous rice flour, is used in many desserts, mostly from Asia. I'm not sure, but I think it's called glutinous because it's so sticky, not because it contains gluten

It is not gluten as in wheat/barely. Glutinous flour/rice gets the name because of its "glue" like consistency. Same reason the gluten protein is called gluten. Because it is a binding ingredient. That's why gluten free foods tend to be crumbly. Unless something like xanthan gum is used as a replacement to bind.

Argentinian food is the same as this, the meat with the eggs on top are called “arrollados” here, but they are rolled up. Embutidos are stiff, and longaniza is salami
