Most zoning codes won't explicitly single out modular homes but will single out mobile homes (down here in TX).

In Florida, modular homes are built to the same standards as stick built and are considered equal to site built homes. Manufactured homes, built to HUD standards, (after 1976), are the ones that may not be allowed even on some vacant rural land.

Hi Shady! We don't typically operate in CA, and don't offer financing for properties other than our own. You can try negotiating a financing plan with the seller for your CA land investment. Good luck! 👍

Hi, thanks for your videos, is it possible that you also include in your listings of land for sale if it is Boxable homes allowed in the property like you include RV allowed in your previous listings, i believe it is much easier for us to look for land if we already know in advance which is allowed in the proepertty instead of guessing. Thank you so much. In 5 years, boxable homes will be readily available for most

Very informative article for modular land! looking for manufactured property in the tampa area, Pinellas county actually.......having a terrible time finding a nice little slice of place ....here don't want a park. Do you have any suggestions. I'm finding realtors here locally are not helpful for manufactured placement. they want to sell me a overpriced stick built house ....any ideas????

Another difference between Moduler and Manufactured is a Manufactured home is built on a chassie. A modular isn't.
