they arent fish they are amphibians and they actually live in lakes not the ocean and they live in 1 lake in mexico which is lake xochimilco

Hey! Be sure to take the Java fern and anubias out of the substrate and stick them into decor as their roots will rot if left in the substrate. Their roots feed from the water column rather than the substrate like other plants.

Roots can be fine its the rhizomes that need to be out of the substrate. But it looks like the rhizomes are burried.

You should probably build your own wooden stands for the tanks. Those racks weight limit is for dead weight. Water however is live weight so over time its a disaster waiting to happen Building your own stand u can have multiple tanks of same size= more fish tanks and fishes.

King of diys old set up in his fish room would be a great template! And with the metal bending, it can cause the tanks to bust a seal due to not distributing the weight properly!

The important thing about axolotles is to keep the water temperature low so hopefully you don’t come across any problems with living in Florida, if you do you could try get a aquarium cooler but I’m sure there really expensive

I’ve heard a cheap way to do it without having to worry about pH changes is using frozen water bottles in the tank. :)

@@jaker3150 this method should work aswell but when it comes down to it, a chiller is better because you dont have to constantly cycle frozen bottles and if you have to leave for a few days, but good suggestion if he needs somthing in the mean time.

Try an endanger Freshwater Fish with there own subrate & filter. Get it ready so that the Freshwater Fish will be happy and actually start to breed. You should try a rare breed of Molly, Platy, ect that can will long and even proster by it.

Hey Paul great vid just saying you should try to get a tank with a lot of surface area instead of height for axolotls but if you want a taller tank I recommend a 40 also I say saltwater for the pond but instead of predators you could make a giant coral reef that would be sick

Yeah I’m assuming his golden albino Axolotl died. 😭 it didn’t live long sadly. They can live 15 years. I don’t understand why he put the Axolotls in the tank that said 69 degrees since that is too warm. He even said the water needs to be 60-64 degrees and he knows that he needs to buy a chiller for the tank.

@@21hairgirl This is almost three years ago. These are axolotls number 5 and 6. He has had 9 in total and all of them died within 4-10 months. He even bought a chiller to appease the "haters" but never really used it.
