Super happy with your new purchases! The good luck on that water tank in the sale section ... man, nice! That's exactly something you needed and it worked out well. I know it's always a tough choice on whether it's better to buy one of those used machines months before you need one or hold off and buy something full priced later on but I think you did well this episode! Completely agree with the deadwood contracts. Some are so tedious to finish where you can’t even find the last tree. But as far as they go you can only have 1 up at a time and when I get them in places I know aren’t worth it I accept the contract and cancel them to get a new area. Also agree that the finance page should show more details. I’d like to see what I sold and bought also. It’s like when landscaping there’s no undo button. Looking forward to the next episode.

3 great choices on your new gear upgrades, more working width is more jobs per day and that is more money for you. The largest resource you have is time, the more you can get done the more you can profit.

It's awesome to see all the new stuff and what it allows you to accomplish. When you go to do harvesting contracts, check the fields before. Im pretty sure the field state affects the % of crop you get to sell at the end. Makes the smaller ones a bit more worth it, and some of the bigger ones are not even worth your time. Awesome video!

Your little trailer has ramps on to load vehicles if needed. Switch the load to back. You could have tried to back up the water tank on it. 😂

I’m starting to like “no lease” rule. Never tried it myself but I think I should. Force you to work with what you have instead of just borrowing equipment.

Loving the series so far. I think a good medium for workers would be using them for things like fertilizing, seeding, and liming. That way you still have to pay for the materials but you don't have to do every single contract. I would look into mods like the real speed limit and a couple of other quality-of-life mods too. At least for me, they made the game not feel so sluggish, and a lot of vehicle mods made the game more enjoyable. Though I'm not sure if they add anything unwanted for the series.

I never played any of old games but seen clips of this game like 2 weeks ago or so and decided to look up videos abt it few days ago and yours was first series I seen and I gotta say your series is better than all others I seen. All the others start with equipment and land and 0 dollars. They use the super strength and exploits. Your videos are way better than the rest keep it up.

My thoughts would be to forgo a front weight and add wheel weights to the Agrostar eventually instead, especially with it mostly doing field work and not having a front loader on it. I would think that the better course of action would be to add a heavier weight to the John Deere to better stabilize it for moving heavier equipment and trying to move more logs. The Agco 1500 might work well for that.

I thought I checked and the agrostar didn't have an option for wheel weights, but I could be misremembering, I will check again. I do agree though that the JD could benefit from a heavier weight when moving logs, might do that soon...

Don't know if you know this. But if you take an item back to sell yourself you get 20% extra on the price. That's how it was in previous versions, it must be the same in '25.

I could be wrong, but I think you can upgrade the motor on your tractor if the price is worth it and you find the horsepower you have to be lacking. Also nearly 3K subs! keep it up!

This tractor only has the one engine option, unfortunately, but it still has pretty good power for the price! Hopefully it will last me until an even better tractor comes up in the sales tab! I can't believe we're almost at 3K subs already 🤯🤯 Thanks for the support!

Hey Syrup. Another great play and love the new toys. So I watched a video about the silage additive and this guy said he only go a 5% increase when he used it on the grass. That's not much of an increase so it may have been a waste of money. Maybe it will work better on crops like corn.

Yeah I knew it was only a 5% bonus so I wasn't expecting anything crazy, but I figured that would still pay off over the next few harvests, especially once we get more fields going... But most people are saying this trailer is bugged with the additive so it was definitely a waste of money haha. Oh well, hopefully I can trade in this small trailer for a bigger one soon, or maybe even switch to baling! Glad you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching!

2:44 You should not sell machines and equipments directly from menu. Drag them to vehicle workshop to repair and repaint then sell at higher price instead. In my experience, i got higher price and profit more after update 1.3. You can also buy used vehicles you don't need, fix it , repaint and sell it for a small profit (which is not against the rule and people do it in real life too).

repair repaint doesnt work in fs25 anymore, but yea, should still take back to store to get full price for resell

@chuckymystic Which is only true in base game version 1.2 but not in version 1.3 and 1.4. I have tested several times using "vehicle sale customizer" mod and changed max store items to 300, repaired, repainted and made millions from start.

Ah ok, I think I had seen a Daggerwin video where he tried the repair/repaint thing and it didn't really make any difference, that's why I didn't bother, but maybe that was from a previous version... I will keep that mind the next time I sell, thanks for the tip!

@syrupgames Thanks for the serie. I got hooked on both Daggerwin's and yours. I like your play style more because you cared about contracts, vehicle maintenance and small detail about your own farm which i can relate to. Daggerwin only repair stuffs when the maintenance bar was totally gone which cost more.

Buy a shed/barn for your equipment. Saves you "repair" & "paint" costs.

I weed and hoe with the Pottinger Roto Care V hoe. It also runs 15mph so contracts finish fast and there is enough work that it gets paid off in a year. It was a great investment for my farm. By the way, thank you for making these videos. You are doing such a great job taking us through your journey that it doesn't really matter what you choose to do, it will all be wonderful entertainment.

How do you weed with the hoe? I tried it in my other save and it wouldn't work for me...

@@syrupgames Weeding with the hoe stopped working for me after the 1.4 patch, worked nicely before that. The way it no longer works now (no error message, just % doesn't go up) feels like a bug which will hopefully be fixed soon. Haven't tried hoeing contracts with a regular weeder, but I assume that wouldn't work.

Yeah I like to see as many stats as possible lol. That's why I think it should just be drop-down type thing, it would look exactly the same for people who don't care, but with the option to expand each line for those of us who like seeing all the details...

I didn't bother with that because I had seen someone else's video (Daggerwins I think) where they tried that and it didn't really make a difference, but someone else told me it's been changed in the more recent updates so that it's actually worth it, I will definitely try that next time!
