One certainly have to a lot of patience in Portugal. What a beautiful dam. In Rhodesia we had a huge dam called the Kariba dam, believed to be the biggest dam in the world, construction began in 1955 and was opened in 1959. A bit of history of the dam : (according to Wikipedia) The Kariba Dam is a double curvature concrete arch dam in the Kariba Gorge of the Zambezi river basin between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The dam stands 128 metres: Kariba Dam was designed by a French man, and construction was managed by an Italian firm. During the first flooding, 11 Italian men were trapped in the concrete wall. It was too expensive to get them out, so to this day, their bodies remain part of the Kariba Dam wall. Have a lovely day.

I will keep my fingers crossed. We mostly cook veggie food. It is practical when you live in the countryside and maybe not have a fridge. Easier to store food. And its good and healthy ❤️

The thing is if we will back out it will cost us our deposit, from other perspective seller is in a breach of a contract.. we have no clue were we stand at the moment

In the USA if they breech the contract- that means there is no contract & the sellers have to return all of your money! If you did not sign an extension - it’s their loss. I hope for your sake it is resolved to your favor! Blessings! 💜

I think it was about 3 months to get my deeds signed that's why I had to come back to the UK and work while the lawyer and Paulo did the work.

The deadline was 25th of last month, no clue why but seller is dragging time, we will give her one more week and probably thats it

Do you have a solicitor? I'm assuming you do as our promissory contract was drawn up by her. Mine clearly stated if the seller breached the contract we were entitled to be reimbursed the entire sale value. I can recommend a very good solicitor in the area if you need one.

I have a question. Why is the seller requiring the contract also in french? Why is it delaying the signing of the purchase contract? U said u signed i assume contrato de promessa de compra e venda. Usually the date for the contract of compra e venda is stated in the promessa de compra e venda. There is usually a penalty if the sale falls through. Usually double the down payment amount. If it was promissed for january what is the hold up.
