I am collecting EVERY Pokemon game! This video is episode number seven in a series where I search for, and purchase every Pokemon game in the mainline collection. We started at square one. Next goals for me are SoulSilver and White 2 in English to complement my Japanese HeartGold and Black 2. I'd like to have all of the games in both languages (and Korean as well) eventually so I'm using the multiple languages to at least start out with complimentary pairs.

@@throwbackkb it’s coming, I had a bunch of the games from either when they were new or some that I bought up during college. I have a cib red version I got from a local store like 10ish years ago that I got for $30, a platinum cib that I got around the same time for $30, and an emerald that I thought was high back then for $60 lol. I recently got sapphire for $85 and fire red for $125 on eBay. I think this is the time to buy these games up before they go even higher. Nintendo has really been trying to stop emulation recently, and if they do actually stop emulation these games are going to go even higher. Again good job, and I completely understand if the next episode isn’t for a few weeks as you have obviously spent quite a bit of money in the past couple months. Keep up the good work!

Very nice haul! Definitely got some heavy hitters. Honestly? I think you should pick up Scarlet or Violet next, since that's the only Gen you're completely missing from your physical collection!

Damn, I didn't realize how expensive Crystal had become! I remember buying Ruby and Sapphire for like 40 dollars apiece just a few years ago. Think I paid about 50 for Emerald, which now goes for 150+. Absolutely insane what's happened to the market over just a few years.

Very jealous of those prices, it is crazy how it was just a few years ago that the prices were relatively normal. Now it's just so extreme. It takes me a few weeks in between videos just to save up for 1-2 games at this point and if I want to get a haul its basically my life savings 😂. Emerald is next on my list, I'm terrified of how much it will be lol

My soul silver got stolen in highschool 2011. In 2017 I was making alright money and stopped by a GameStop and saw Pokemon soul silver for $50 or $55. I remember thinking it was real expensive and left the store but literally went back later that night or the next night and grabbed it. Do not regret the price anymore

Yeah I've overpaid a few times for sure. I have a few trusted people in the area that I buy from, but I always know the games are in good shape and work, so it's worth a few extra bucks!

@throwbackkb my experience is: yes. But for me it's many because of the prices. I'm manly on Fleemarkets and since the last hype I had not seen any real GBA Pokemon game. There are also many fakes of the GB ones. I had only see a real (I wasn't really sure) GBA one 1 Year ago in a secondhand store. At the time it was to expansive for me unfortunately.

Where did you get them pokemon games from im tryna get the Nintendo ds ones i already have firered n all the 3ds ones n switch ones but ebay is way way too expensive and gamestop dont have them Amazon games fake Walmart games fake i download them on my Nintendo ds emulator but i gotta get the ds ones 150 is alot of money where can i get them cheaper authentic ones

Hey! It's pretty tough to find them in general. I either go directly to local video game stores, meetups, or game conventions. Depending where you live it may still be cheaper to order online sadly.

i still got my uesd pokemon crystal version i got from gamestop when i was a kid with the price sticker still on it with says $16.99 on it i also have my pokemon blue i got off ebay for $35 dollars a few years back i also still have my pokemon yellow, sliver and pokemon red some where.

You really need to get physical copies of sword and shield with the expansion pass or physical copies of scarlet and violet with the hidden treasure of area zero. Also try getting the GameCube pokemon games.

Those prices are way off Ruby is worth ab 70-80 TOPS. Crystal is at like 150 & red blue yellow silver and gold are all 50-60 a piece. You really need to use price chatting and eBay’s most recently sold to show these guys how they’re ripping people off

I don't know how much the games cost here in Sweden but I know Black 2 and White 2 is very expensive here. I should never pay over 1000 sek (€100 $100) for a game. It is not worth it.

@@throwbackkb Yes, the price for Black 2 was around 2500 kronor ($250) here when I was looking at Tradera (our eBay) But when I got White I paid under 1000 kronor ($100) but then I only got the cartridge. After that I fixed DS boxes for that game plus for my GBA games.
