Idea for you: In your city, you were saying you were having trouble finding something to put next to the construction site, since you wanted something small thay also fit with the skyscrapers. Why not put the "Up" house? Obviously it will look slightly out of place, but that's exactly the idea from the movie!

It was next to the construction site in the previous Lego City, but I agree it makes so much sense to put it back next to it in this city as well. Not only, it would be a great nod to the movie, but it would also be a good transition between the tall buildings of the downtown, and the residential neighborhood

Hi Jordan I just watched your barad dur review and speed build. I have also watched all the city updates. Where the mountain range will finish in the top left corner, you could do a volcano and have barad dur on it, as it would look sick with the eye over 2 meters up. Yesterday was my first time at the Lego store on release day. Wow… I couldn’t get over how busy it was and the store in Ottawa is one of the smallest in the country. But I got lucky and got one of the last few Barad-dur sets they had. Can’t wait to see what you do with the canal!

Some cool sets I really like the radio and will be getting one for sure - if the city building ever gets stressful and you need to regroup, building some of those smaller sets with a coffee would be a great way to blow off steam although it looks like you will enjoy the City building much much more. 😁

Personally I'm going to get the smaller Simba as its more poseable, I received the original dvd of the Lion King 30 years ago for my birthday so I think its only fitting to get a Simba for my birthday this year. Great haul! Good luck Josee with the surgery, start training the kids that if they want to be picked up that they have to hold on, then you wrap your forearms around them, dont use your wrist or hands (I had scaphocapitate fusion, which went wrong, many years ago, and needed to look after grandbubs so we trained them to hold on or climb so I didnt have to lift or strain)

The warning labels are due to Reese’s Law in the US. Canada is probably getting shipments from the same warehouses. Such an extreme eye sore.

Alot of great sets and i could spend a day at that pick a brick wall . The warning label is a liability issue , considering the contents . Nothing may or may not of happened yet but if so Lego is legally covered with this warning label , or in better legal position depending on damages .

As others have said about the battery warning-a piece of paper in the box should be enough. Better yet, put a small disclaimer that states “batteries sold separately” but then people would complain that “LEGO is expensive enough and now I have to buy a battery!!”

If you put the hogwarts express on the city line with a king cross style station then have a lower portion in the back of the mountains where you could put a hogwarts moc and use the mountains to hide it from the leggles(Lego muggles)

I don't really understand the set purchases especially with no gwp. I generally only buy sets from the Lego store or online that are exclusive or hard to find. The four pab boxes make sense for sure but I'd return the rest actually. Still, fun to watch and looking forward to more city progress.

the battery thing isn't isolated to lego....anything that ships with a lithium type or similar chemical based battery requires warning/safety documentation to travel with the batteries.... its more of an overall safety standard requirement

The law is called Reese Law and is the new battery warning label required on all US packaging that has button batteries or can use them. The size of the warning is proportional to the package size. Bigger packing bigger warning. I just got Barad-Dur and it’s printed on the box not a sticker. Looks awful 😢

The battery warning on the packaging has nothing to do specifically with Lego. It is in response to various jurisdictions legislating about their use due to several children being easily able to remove them from those musical greeting cards and then swallowing them.
