There's actually a disadvantage to placing your trips in the open because agents with smokes can smoke it and they can sneak past the trip

Same applies if you place traps in "hidden" spots (not the ones that got fixed), as they are usually predictable at times. There is usually an indicator on your POV to indicate where the trap is if it spots you. This also applies to every ability that requires line of sight (e.g. recon dart, turret/alarm bot, flashes). The only way to play against that certain move is not to be too reliant on your abilities. Time it on your head on when an enemy flanks because you can play with your trap aside from it watching flanks for you.

It's always the same few agents who can bypass sentinel traps without giving away intel. Reason why as a sentinel main I learned that I shouldn't be too comfortable around my traps and if a teammate needs help on a gunfight then I should help them regardless if I die.

My favourite setup for chamber on ascent defence is one trap A main and one B main, one teleporter tree and the other in market. That way you are basically watching the whole map and can hold mid from two angles. It is also useful if you need to quickly rotate when your trap spots someone.

As a chamber main, the reason i dont put the orb in the open on b site in icebox is bcoz they can shoot it from far away then go mid (false info). Also. the orb behind the box can be walked around but if they want to go through the gate or just walk in from anywhere they will get detected or have to break it. except this time, they are close enough that they generally just push anyway

his pistols not better, the reason fishy me and almost every other guardian buys a guardian on chamber is cause of the recoil of the pistol, which is stupidly high compared to the recoil of the guardian, therefore making multikills much harder, which is one of the huge advantages of the guardian.
