You may do a quick research in internet and also with part supplier on the parts that you may expecting need to be replaced so that you can estimate the overall cost to rebuild all the cars before bid. Good luck Thana.

looking at the condition, duties not yet paid...i reckon i would probably cheaper to buy a good running unit for around 450k in kl . Mclaren are known to blow up engines and gearbox even when in perfect running order lol..

dont get that mp4 bro, its gonna cost you way more to restore and rebuild. plus duty taxes... ouch.. restoring the car might be a cost of buying a better conditioned used one. if your gonna get your hands dirty and restore the car to every detail and record and post on youtube , then do it as a passion project. just my humble opinion, I would rather you not get this mclaren. you really do not know what you are getting yourself into. mclaren are very prone to rust (even till this date with the 720s) and mind you, before this car was stored at this store, it was parked for years near the beach in Langkawi. secondly, during it's hey days, the electronics of this car was already a big headache. i'd bet the springs and all oil lines are rusted by now. and to give you an insight, the springs are prone to crack and suspension accumulators would have been done (2.2k ea). if you aren't familiar with mclaren, please don't touch it. and mind you, it wasn't that the owner had no money to pay off the duty. He made a thorough calculation on it's worthiness and rather just forgo it. you're better off getting a used unit that's on the road and pick up all the other loose ends of it (which would already be a nightmare for you) Put the pillow a little higher tonight and sleep it off. Gd luck
