I know colors, I mix them all the time, and the blue didn't disappear - it did dominate the pink but you didn't realize it because that shade of purple is actually not that far off from pink, **Gasps for air** because the blue isn't either. The purple is that intense *precisely* because of the blue. I think I saw some blue residue on an edge of the container as you were opening it, but I also think it was just slightly lighter than the one in the picture, so maybe it was just a case of saturation gone wrong in pictures. The blue was definitely there though.
