I work at Goodwill where all product is dumped in containers called "boats" and nothing is priced, everything is sold by the pound, and this is true. Starting about a week all managers were told by corporate to go thru them and pull out anything of real value and put a price tag on it. They decide what the price should be.

Hey, my Repriceit is having troubles and whenever I choose to compete with the Buy Box it goes after the merchant fulfilled buy box, even though I say to ONLY compete with FBA offers. When I turn intelligent pricing on or whatever, it stops chasing merchant prices but then it doesn't reprice everything that needs to be repriced. Any suggestions? Do you still use repriceit? Could we hop on a call or something? hahaa

Living in and around NYC the prices are so jacked up on anything name brand shoe wise. Nike, Adidas and Jordan shoes can be up to $50 in a thrift store. Quite hard to make a profit.

I definitely hear you there. My recommendation (if you want a recommendation haha) would be to drive an hour or more out of the heavily populated areas to find less expensive thrifts. Also, try looking into other categories (shirts, jeans, shorts, handbags) in your area, that you can get for a lower price. Hope that helps.

Kids shoes are slow sellers for me. That being said, I did leave eBay and strictly sell on Marketplace. My meet up spot around the corner, and I have people message me when they get there so I won't spend my life in a parking lot. This is what sells for me. Hokas, Brooks, Vans, Dr. Martens, Converse, Ugg, Bearpaw, Chacos, Red Wings, Justin, Asics,Adidas, Nike.

Your not doing very well. Making an extra $5 to $10 in profit per shoe... I find high end designer bags and shoes in Salvation Army thrift stores pay $5 to $20 and make anywhere from $200 to $800 reselling used.
