I'm using a W211 merc E240 since 2003 from 0km... And still that's my daily car and now the car has done 700K kms... And still my car is a king in the road. Have been using many other models of Lexus & BMW models.. But they can't beat the reliability and low maintenance costs of this W211... The main thing is their good stability on the road and the safety features.. 😊

A nice presentation . Being a proud owner of 2009 ,E220 CDI ,a few points about the W211, 4 cylinder diesel. It's fabulous , driver friendly and over all gives 14 KM per litre. I do service from people outside . Hence, the service costs are minimal , Rs.6000 , for 10000 km . Additional Rs.2500 for Diesel Filter ( Mayle) at 20000 km . Did EGR, Inlet-Manifold , Radiator , serviced by Mr.Babu ( specialized in Passat , Mini Cooper and Merc) , at Rs .10000. My car is it's 108000 km and on its superb performance .

I remember a friend of my dad's gifted me a beautiful scale model of the 211 e55 Kompressor. Up until then all my model cars felt meh, so I knew this one was special, because the thing had so much detail and was made of solid metal! More importantly, it was such a good looking car! That was the first time I'd even heard of Mercedes and that was also the moment my craze for cars began. I believe I was 7 or 8 at the time. Wish I'd taken better care of the scale model though!😅

U get all the spare parts of Benz in a couple of days time . I have got E220 cdi of 2009 and an average service of Oil n filter costs limit to Rs.6000 for 10000km

I was planning to buy this car from past 3 years, MH reg 280 well maintained cars where available around 5L , actually I don’t wanted to cross the radar 😆 so I bought Jetta last month after seeing your review. This car is Still in the bucket list. And one more thing turbocharge issues were a very common issue in this car I guess.

All dependent on maintainance . MH , u need to be extra careful as they drive the car a minimum 3 Lakh KM,hence the costs involved on replacement of expensive parts.
