If you want to defend your home from a buzz bomb is to use one

First you’ll need at least 20 tons of sugar. Next, ship that to the nearest diesel depot as quietly and as quickly as you can. Third, target the diesel pumps and pour sugar into them. If you are spotted by a diesel in steps two or three, ram whatever you are holding the sugar in and bail. While this does not immediately combat the Buzz Bomb, it can be a good way to prevent attacks as it sabotages the diesel’s own fuel supply.
