OMG Thankyou!! I tried a couple of years back to get these working again with no success. I was actually looking around to buy some new ones but they were always quite expensive so just didnt bother. For some reason I packed mine away and just found them out, so I gave it another go....found this video and got them working again! Thanks alot!! Will be playing tonight 😁👍

Hi, I just got a set of Buzzers + USB Dongle. I follow the steps, the big red button doesn´t stay lit and whenever I press a button, the light on the USB Dongle doesn`t show any light. what version of PS3 software do you have ? I`m thinking it might have to do with that but I can be mistaken

There seems to exist 2 versions of the wireless Buzzers, either manufactured by Logitech or by Namtai which can be identified by the existence of the power button or not (Namtai and Logitech respectively). It should also be written as the manufacturer on the back of the dongle. The Logitech controllers obviously connects in a different way, but I haven't found out how. If someone knows how, please comment below. Personally I have bought the buzzers without the power button, but the dongle says Namtai, so I'm a bit worried that I got scammed when buying the thing.

I had exactly the same problem, my buzzers flashed and turned off when I pushed the button on the dongle. I fixed this by opening the USB dongle (there are only a few plastic clips that hold it together), then I removed it from its housing and resoldered the 4 pins from the USB connector to the board on the upper and the lower side. Took me 5 minutes and now its working properly again 👍

I did everything this video has said and whenever I try to connect the dongle to the controllers, the dongle works and turns on but all the controllers turn off. I don’t know what to do because I’ve done the same thing 3 times with the same result

It took me about 15 tries before I got it to work :( . these were no made well at all. Also it could be that there is some kind of issue with your controllers and dongle. very hard to say

I've never tried them on the ps2. I know the ps2 has its own wired version. If i remember correctly, you have to synxh them everytimw you use them.

Elyce - I had the same thing. What worked for me, is doing the process of turning on the controllers then holding bind BEFORE starting the game. At first I was loading the game, then doing it...and the lights would always go out after binding.

What I mean by “before the game starts”, is do it before even clicking on Buzz to start the application. So do it after turning on the PS3 and still just in the system menu. The lights will still go out after binding, but once you begin to load the game it will flash whenever you press the buzzer.

This is definitely the way to do. Took me like 45 minutes and worked every time after that. Unless you have a different model or your controllers do not work. Keep on trying, I'm sure it will work you just have to time things right.
