There is no such thing as "animal friendly" or "not animal friendly" taxidermy. In classic/real taxidermy, there is usually an animal being killed, yes (unless it's roadkill or something), but the materials made to produce these faux taxidermy pieces are not innocent, either. All our industries, whether it involves plants, plastic, whatever, harms animals and their habitats in some regard. I want to do faux taxidermy (I love real taxidermy but don't want to have to deal with the gore, plus I'm more impressed if you can create something from scratch), but please no "vegan" or "animal friendly" BS, because no industry creating materials is.
