I am about to turn 28 and I have always wanted to grow my hair out but I always gave in. The longest period I let it grow was 11 months than I cut it and it hurt so bad. This is my last attempt at growing it as I am planning to let it grow for 2 years if God wills it. The last time I got a trim was in February almost 3 months now so hopefully I will have the resole to this through this time ✌

It's better to put coconut oil a night before showering, let it set on your hair for a night, wake up in the morning and take a shower. It's the best way.

You don’t need to but when you grow it from a buzz cut it should all grow to be the same length, whereas it can grow at different lengths if you grow it out from a current hairstyle. It doesn’t matter too much though.
