This hurt me so bad for him. I just so badly wanted someone there with him to start - to hold him up vertically so he could land properly without crashing his body. The stick straighter your arms and legs stay, the better -- and you keep your hands, head, butt, and feet all in the same vertical line like you're taped in an X to a piece of plywood. Then it'll come so easy. The minute you break your shoulder angle, hip angle, knee angle, it's never gonna go okay. Really really proud of him, but think if someone could've helped him visualize that, he wouldn't have gotten so hurt. Poor guy!

I wrote this in my own comment, but: The stick straighter your arms and legs stay, the better. You also need to keep your hands, head, butt, and feet all in the same vertical line, as if you're taped in an X shape flat against to a piece of plywood. You've gotta make sure your feet go up over the top of you (toward the sky/ceiling - never facing a wall or the ground. The minute you break your shoulder angle, hip angle, knee angle, etc. it's rarely gonna go okay. Also, if you're a righty, it'll go: Right foot, right hand, left hand, left leg, right leg. If you're a lefty, the opposite: LL, LH, RH, RL, LL. Your body is supposed to look like it's in a wheel. As if you are spread out to the edge of the inside of tube and someone rolled. The moment your bend you body anywhere, you're not gonna roll straight anymore and it's gonna hurt your hips/ankles, etc. Good luck!

If you want to learn how to do the cartwheel: 1. Find out what is you better side to do a cartwheel with. 2. When your doing a cartwheel think of "hand hand foot foot" and when you think of hand put you hand on the ground and when foot then put you foot on the ground. 3. At the end you should be at the same pose that you started with.

Kids get it right cause they're more flexible when they're taught, and it's easy to correct their form cause they're so small. When my mom taught me, I was basically tiny. How she taught me was,she had me next to her while she was sitting down, told me to touch the floor between her legs while I was still sideways, held my legs up, then guided them down on the other side. She had me repeat it multiple times till I could do it on my own. It only took a day and a half and lots of practice

This video really helped me. I cant really do a Cartwheel either. I can get both of my feet off of the ground but I lean to one side instead of being straight. I did learn something from one of my friends (She can do a Cartwheel like....Perfectly @-@) But Something she told me was that when Im about to do the Cartwheel, I can just lift my knees up in mid air, so its like a small Cartwheel. (At 5:52 the guy has his feet up, But instead it would be your knees, so you just feet back, and it will be a knee Cartwheel)
