May be a title like “possible $20 meal (with some items you should already have)” lol I myself am a weirdo and stock my pantry even though I don’t use it often or at all and when I know it’s no good anymore I just re-buy it because there are times around feeling spontaneous and like to bake or cook different things and I hate not having what I need and having to go out to the store

I have been making Thanksgiving dinner every year for 6 people for the last decade and never once spent more than $50 and we always had turkey, 3 sides, cranberry sauce, rolls, gravy, a desert and a big pot of spiced cider and always had leftovers. It is not difficult to do you just have to be willing to put the effort into making some things from scratch and knowing how to shop correctly. I never pay full price for anything and I buy everything at the beginning of the month and freeze things properly until the night before.
