It's sad the tourist lost his life stepping off the back of a moving songthaew. Thoughts with his family. However, I hope the driver was absolved of all responsibility. He can't possibly guard against every act of stupidity by his passengers.

When you go ro dark side. Check out the new resturant and swimming/spa at East 3/1 between soi khao noi and nern plubwan. Was before dao resturant but it is all new now. Also check out the bar/gentlemen club on the backside. The name is Dao bar. The bar is also totaly renowated. Nice pooltable ther also. And not exspensive.

Love the German fests.... i was in Germany for around 18 years.... Verden,Bracht,JHQ and Fallingbostal.... lived in Celle for 9 years as a Civvy .... first wife was German.

I think it is ridiculous that Thai officials are blaming the baht bus drivers for what the passengers do. Something called personal responsibility yeah? I've seen a lot of stupid drunk activity on baht buses and that is on them not the driver. I hope I can make some of those side trips next time I'm in town Trevor. 🙂

I guess it's not allowed now but remember my brother and sister in law+ 3 children coming down the pier in a baht bus to meet me + 1 after loading a boat with beer . We all had a great day fishing , swimming and drinking . By the way the old pier was by Beer Garden bar . Very rickety . John Buriram .

I would like to add regarding German beer festivities... that Cigarette lighter pilfering is massive in Thailand and in many places in Germany or Greece or where adventurous people smoke large quantities of marijuana punts. Plus, why do people where sunglass at night when there is no Neon signs. Have they lost their normal spectacles. Theories. Pennies. Kababs. Im a vegetable eater. But I enjoy an occasional buffet. Trevor great stuff. Like me, I'm always in the company of the sexist girls in Pattaya, often people are rude. Mostly older European types. I'm used to it. But beautiful woman seem to always show up at my door. I no a few major modelling agencies in London and New York. I guess. Occasionally I'll stroll past your bar. I like it.
