Hi Trevor Just an important info for your subscribers and everyone else to know: Azure hotel wasn't belong to Centara hotels chain when it was closed. Check it out. Centara sold it just before, so it had nothing to do with them. People who stay in other Centara hotels can be calm. Cheers

I moved into Centara Residences in late 2016. One of the first residents. And the only way in or out was through the hotel kitchen area. A small door led out to soi 15 opposite Korandos. Stayed for two years, A803. Great times, great location.

Hi Trevor, very bad about the Azure, one thing to tell your followers, if you book through a UK travel agent, flights and hotel they have to provide you with like for like accommodation at there expense. I was in a hotel in New Dehli when it was siezed for unpayed taxes, it was quick, everryone was woken up at 7am by police and tax officers and by 9am everyone was on the street and the hotel chained and padlocked with seals. No rufunds or help. I returned 8 yrs later, still sealed locked, unsellable because a new owner gets the old tax debt. I doubt Thailand is that hard on tourists when hotels are siezed.

Opposite Meliã hotel, head towards the beach, that plot of land you filmed a short while ago is going to be Meliã Beach Club. Aaaaaand finally, that dusty cut through between Soi Buakhao and Soi 15, there's construction underway next to Kokotel. No signage, and only a couple of storeys high so far, so I'm guessing a food venue???

It closed on 1 Jan. I live in the condos. There is no access to the pool, gym etc. It seems management were aware but the condo dwellers weren't. I actually saw people checking in on 31 December. It's a pain having no facilities, and the pool will soon turn green, but at least it's quiet.
