Beautiful, I wish they’d build an exact replica that I could ride all the time

Thanks for the beautiful ride! You got the camera perfectly placed for us viewers! On the chest. Wish others would follow that example. And the sound is really good too!

Fantastic! Beautiful restoration. I'm really impressed with how smooth the bike seems. It's amazing that a bike from 1931 can ride so nicely.

Wow, that thing pulls like a modern bike. At least it had front brakes. A lot of it's competition didn't when that bike was built. Sometimes stopping an old bike is the main problem. Just ask anyone who grew up in the AMF era of Harleys.

Would love if Indian would make a modern replica. Same looks but with electric start and a foot shift 😊

What a sweet running old machine this is. I bet you could ride coast to coast and back with no drama. Hand operated gearshift? So what? Once you're in top there's no need to down shift except for cruising through towns.

Buzz, always been a Harley guy and have a '40 flathead, a '47 Knucklehead, a '52 Pan and my '54 Pan with Shovel topend. I am now thinking about just out right buying an Indian Scout like the one you have here, it is perfect for what I am looking for, year, make, model, paint scheme as well as beautifully rebuilt. My question to you is what is a fair asking price for a bike such as this?Thanks, fellow AMCA member,George

I wonder what it was like riding that thing back in the day. I know they didn't have roads like that in 1931.

Did this bike have the throttle switched to the right side? Or did the scout's come with right throttles?
@jonmurr18 жыл бұрын
It has been switched. And the shifter reversed.

Hi guys, that's an absolutely beautiful bike. I was just wondering, with that hand gear thing, where is the clutch? I study engineering and have been on a couple of bikes but I still can't figure it out, is it foot operated or do you just simply slot it in by matching revs? Thanks for anyone's time -Scott
@zims6610 жыл бұрын
Hey Scott, as you can see at 1:16 and 10:45 min, rider pushes the clutch with his left foot to change gears

zims66 Hey man thanks for the really, that looks pretty tricky but I guess you'd get used to it. Interesting how much bikes have altered over the years.

i wouldn't ride it with that stupid shifter on there. people are too important to die by a shifter. im not sorry its junk!, the shifter anyway. nice bike!
