Moody wonderousness. Great long trip driving music and great album art.

exactly all that shit was about the right kind of people making music for the right reasons...not even going to say the "movement" by name, it pretty much ruined music for about 10 years.
@Dbusdriver713 жыл бұрын
AT one time, the 'right kind of people' was Damon Alburn of Blur while the 'wrong kind of people' was Noel Gallagher of Oasis. IF the 'movement' you inferring to here is what I think it is; IF it was ruined then it was ruined by the 'in crowd' not the 'outsiders' that are considered the 'wrong kind of people'.

The Manchester Scene was full of talent regardless of gender, people just wanna hate on men

she never said they weren't talented, she said it was seen as a "lads scene" and women weren't welcome you fucking idiot

Is she kidding Me? Wow, she's gotten worse with age, I Love her Talent but she's jealous of Strong Men

What would a bloke with an icon picture of Syd Barrett's idiot bass player know. But... kidding you how? How does your 50 year old face compare to your mug at 20? Jealous of strong men? Like those tossers out of 'raack band' Chili Peppers?

Prior to Lush there was Justine Frischmann of Elastica and Louise Weiner of Sleeper. They have given interviews and sound similar to what Miki Berenyi is saying in this video. A decade prior to these two there was Belinda Carlisle of the Go-Go's and Susana Hoff of the Bangles. They also have made statements similar to Miki's. I"m not sure that her gender worked against her that much as she implies but her timing did. There were other bands out there that were also really having an impact. Female 'rockers' may not have been taken as seriously as they should but what is being called the 'victim's syndrome' in America isn't being accepted either. IF Lush had came at a time when there was a vacuum in rock N roll, like say the Stone Roses then Lush would have been bigger. I agree with your post to a point but I have a feeling female rockers have more to fear from each other then they do male bands.

Jealous of strong men? Nah man she just talks about the real issues of being a woman in the music industry, but what would a pathetic misogynist know?
@marooqi Жыл бұрын
how did you get that she's in any way jealous or bashing males of any kind. its just the exaggerated way she talks, i love it, emphatic and doesn't take herself too seriously. You are being a bit hyper sensitive in this case and lost the plot.
