As an old fan, I see this game many flaws, but to me I have a personal part of my part for this game even I do admit that it is not very good.

As a huge BatIM fan both games ESPECIALLY Ink Machine are flawed, combat sucks “puzzles” are ether painfully simple or tedious fetch quests, but voice acting and overall presentation are what drew (ha) me in. This video perfectly and swiftly describes all those issues. I love this game and franchise but seriously just watch a play through of Ink Machine and play Dark Revival. You’ll thank me later

I’m working through dark revival slowly and it’s much better but I’m still early into the game, bit early to tell.

@@HorrorReview gameplay wise it’s much better but personally bendy (specifically in character 3) was better in ink machine it’s clear they tried to do the same thing with dark revival’s mechanic but idk the lack of his actual model shambling around is disappointing :/ idk might just be me

Also his voice is not my thing, he’s much more intimidating as a mindless monster born from greed not a generic evil demon with a boring demon design idk I prefer ink machine’s bendy (again especially in character 3) he’s got a better tie into the theme of the game. A cute cartoon made by a passionate artist turned into a shambling melty mess by the greed of a man who never even drew (ha) for the studio is cool to me. Like a commentary on corporate taking characters we love and turning them into cheap cash grabs with no personality, for example Micky mouse, Sonic the hedgehog, pikachu, mario, Garfield, ect. As an artist that interpretation is much more compelling than oo spooky demon guy is evil and lord of inkkkkkk. Sorry for the essay but I love BatIM I grew up with it and was how I grew my art skills.
