The growth of that city is quite simply astounding, and you show it to perfection.

Excellent as always. Manchester is lucky to have you documenting its progress. The last shot of the city centre from Blackfriars is epic :)

Absolutely fabulous. I've watched this and your previous post a number of times. I've shared with family in Australia and France and with friends in the USA. I'm in my mid 60s now and live in Bolton. I've always loved Manchester and am so jealous that I'm not going to see the full future of this wonderful city 😊.

I knew Manchester sufficiently well enough to be able to recognize it in photo's or video. Even though I now live overseas, I don't think I can now recognize it either by drone views or when flying into the airport any longer. The last time I was there was 2020, at that time I counted/was aware there were 65 tower cranes on the horizon. These videos show there have been many more since. I'm sure that at ground level I will always find my way around the city centre, but beyond I think many familiar landmarks will be less obvious. It truly demonstrates that "they don't make land anymore!" and the only way for Manchester to deal with it's conservation whilst increasing popularity/population is for it to grow upwards as many other world cities.

God can they finally demolish Arndale Tower, it is such an eyesore, Manchester looks really good but they need to get rid of that monstrosity, it's right in the centre as well

@BardhokNdoji8 ай бұрын
Piccadilly gardens is worse if I am honest with you. it is such a grim place and it looks always rough. As for the Arndale tower, a nice facelift could probably improve it. But it all comes down to the money they don’t want to spend I guess.

It's a shame it's so rough round there, residents are getting mugged all the time and it's not safe for women on their own

It is rather safe in Manchester in comparison with other big cities. And it isn't rough in the central areas at all, as it is in your town, where you will be mugged sooner. Now you can be even more envious! 😜

Manchester is a very tolerant city. I am not saying it isn’t prone to crime but it is more progressive even than London, in my view.

@@rufdymond The City is not insolvant, just the City Council. Birmingham it self the second City is surging ahead very well indeed and the City Council is slowly pulling its self together. Do you want to know why there is always some one that is supporting Brum on these Manchester videos, like me for a start is because you lot do not know the difference between the Metropolitan County of Greater Manchester from the City of Manchester and try to make out that Greater Manchester is the second largest City in the UK when it is not a City when in fact the City of Manchester is only the 6th largest City in the UK thats why.
