I always had a bit of a sad feeling when I reached this part of the game. Like my journey was coming to an end. And the violins you used starting at 1:22 are beautiful. Great re-orchestration! Also, I really liked Bianca. She is crazy and fun and had a different goal other than to "be better than you".

This is a pretty interesting take on the famous Route 10 theme, and I really like it! You took some creative liberties here and there, and I think they all really paid off. Also, dat guitar pattern, hahaha. Reminds me of Zelda, as someone else mentioned in the comments. As for your comment question--I'm _ALL_ for Cheren and Bianca. In my opinion, they were the most dynamic set of rivals in the entire Pokemon universe, and they were surprisingly developed, even as Pokemon characters. Cheren wanted to be the very best (like no one ever was!), but eventually realized he needed to take a step back, admit defeat, and re-think his outlook as a trainer. Bianca didn't really know what to do with herself at the beginning of the journey, but she found her way, and stood up for herself when others questioned her ideals. Hugh wasn't a bad rival either, but he was definitely a much more static character when compared to Cheren and Bianca, so I found him a bit less interesting to interact with as opposed to them. However, I _do_ like Hugh's battle theme more than Cheren and Bianca's for what it's worth, I suppose, haha. Um, not that I dislike C & B's battle theme, though. I just really like how catchy Hugh's theme is. :3

the only other rival I ever felt like developed was Silver, (my personal favorite) but it's kind of sad that while bianca and cheren are the better characters, they get the lesser rival theme than Hugh.

ShinyUmbreon On that point, Silver can also be considered to be like Hugh, with a desire for revenge buried in his past (Team Rocket for Silver and Plasma for Hugh). However, Hugh seems more open about it and it isn't really an obsessive feeling for him, unlike Silver, for whom it was his sole purpose. Bianca was the best character-wise, but as a battler Hugh topped the other two. Cheren had a quite strategic team, though.

Bianca! I never played BW2, but I really liked her character development in BW. The scene with her father and Elesa was really touching. As I scroll through the comments, I'm not the first person to say this, ahah. Your strings sound really good! As a string (viola, eheh) player myself, I'm really enjoying your phrasing with the background strings. Though when the melody starts, I would have liked to hear a single instrument play the melody rather than the full orchestra coming in for the chorus (?) I guess you could call it. Aaaah this song... I never played BW, but in BW2 I used to pretty much live in that one house in winter after discovering it, just for that song. ...I think it reminds me of Laputa? I think it was Laputa. ...Yes, it's ending credits. They both give the same feelings. Great re-orchestration. In my opinion, this is the best song in the Unova region. I really like the character development of Bianca more than Cheren because she doesn't strictly serve as your rival, but as someone who just wants to become a better Pokemon trainer in her own right.

I like your take on this theme, very mellow and not too overbearing. There's a little mistake in your screen title: Route 10 doesn't actually exist in BW2. Who cares, however: this song is great =)

It actually does though! It's not explorable, but in Iccirus City during the Winter you can go talk to a man in the house by the windmill, and he will play the song for you. So, technically it is in Black and White 2 :)
