Nice race regardless of the mechanical. Thanks for sharing Drew. These unedited videos are gold.

Simply unreal! Your bike-handling is phenomenal dude! Mechanicals suck, and we are all amazed at how well you finished w/ a broken pedal! Let us know when it's okay to tease you for cutting the corner into the ST!!!!

Nice footage! That course looks cleaner than BWR Arizona was last month.

Looks cold. :) Are you running 45s, they look like 40s - Yikes?!?! Too bad about the mechanical and best of luck in San Diego! Definitely try and pre-ride the Wilderman's Wilderness (Santa Isabel Creek Trail West on Strava) section in Black Canyon before the Pamo climb. It's pretty intense rutted and rocky shenanigans that we didn't have to deal with last year. Might be worth running wider tires just for that section.

Whoever lost there water bottles right at the beginning is going to be mad when they dont have any more to drink.

It would of course NOT be "unedited" and I have no idea how much work gives but this footage with HR and power overlaid would be very very sweet.

What is your recording setup? I'm sure you've talked about it before on the podcast or a previous video.

Did I hear that right? Unbound’s your last race because you have a kid on the way? I salute you, really do, getting your priorities right. Go, Dizzle

"gravel racing is so much safer" - signed gravel racers who went head-on with on coming traffic at the start and almost ass-packed a pickup truck in the first three minutes while using all lanes and not caring about traffic.
@emilioc7008 ай бұрын
That has more to do with the event's traffic control (or lack thereof) You come down that hill, round that turn with momentum and see a car, You know if you swerve right you are going to hook somebody so you check left, swerve left and avoid a crash. I've done road races that were just as bad, it's not a gravel thing.
