One cool thing about J. S. Bach is that he knew in his lifetime that the compositions he wrote were good, and deserved to be preserved even if his contemporaries did not agree. He saved compositions in the Well-tempered Clavier, pedagogical exercises, etc as well as all the stuff he was commissioned to write. I'm sure glad he did, though a lot has been lost.

Oh wow! I had a CD of Walter Carlos Switched on Bach back in 1983 and discovered and memorized that it was at 3:10 till about 4:24 for his Moog Synthesizer version of movement one of the 5th Brandenburg for one of the most beautiful and moving musical passages I had ever heard! Love it! I thought it was so incredible that Bach could have extended and explored and developed it for 2 or 3 more minutes before moving on. Yup! BEST PART!!!

@kiwi93416 жыл бұрын
My piano teacher always taught me that you start out slow, and then once you build dexterity, you start pushing yourself to play faster. If you make mistakes and fumble, she would tell me it's okay, but that means that my dexterity isn't there yet. Long answer short, just takes many hours of practicing going fast and getting faster :)
