"By The Gentle Waters" - MS Baptist All-State Youth Choir & Orchestra 2009

"By The Gentle Waters" performed live at First Baptist Church, Clinton, MS on June 16, 2009.
The Mississippi Baptist All-State Youth Choir was first organized in 1993 by the Church Music Department of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board under the leadership of Susan Clark Luttrell, youth minister consultant, and L. Graham Smith, department director.
This special choir and orchestra is made up of 9th-12th graders who are chosen thourgh a personal audition and interview process. Each member must be an active participant in the music ministry of their local church and recommended by their pastor, school teachers, and minister of music.
James Meaders, Mississippi College, Clinton, MS is choral director. David Young, Instrumental Contract Consultant, Church Music Department, MBCB, is orchestra director.

My school choir is singing this for baccalaureate this year. I love this song because it explains that God will always be by your side and he will stir you back on track when your life starts to fall down.

This choir is very well trained and did an excellent job. My soul was encouraged to love & trust the Shepherd more. I am very conservative in music, and I appreciated the interpretation of the song by the young ladies. It was beautiful without the interpretation, and beautiful with the interpretation. Please make more music like this.

@SunshineRox007 When you are serious, have rehearsed, and concentrate on the message of the music, it's easy to stay focused. There probably was no thought of breaking the mood. Beautiful, isn't it?
