Outstanding essay, Scott. No one covers this topic as thoroughly as you! I'm going to share this and pray that ears are opened, even though most of the people I will share this with have excommunicated me for 'legalistic views hat bely a judgmental spirit'. I live in a so-called Bible belt, but it's nearly impossible to find a church that doesn't sing all this music regularly. And they throw in the Chris Tomlin stuff as well. Thanks again (I've commented on your excellent work on Twitter) for addressing this critical topic and properly explaining why this music is nothing but blasphemy. You experience God through the cerebral. Bear in mind that everyone is different and some need more color and diversity in the actual music. When the music is boring, I don’t see how it glorifies God. Your message placed more emphasis on lyrical content that the actual music. Both are important Scott. As a worship leader it’s important to glorify God in a diversity of praise. Cultures also differ in their way of worship. I hear a narrow, cerebral view coming from you and you are trying your best to back it all with intellect.

I have listen to a few of your KZbin posts and it seems you have built your career on cutting down other Christians. You are so sure you are right about so many things. From what I can tell, without spending too much time researching you, your agenda and opinions are based on legalism and not grace. Has God spoken to you directly about being his official guy to remove the speck from everyone else's eye? Please consider encouraging followers of Christ instead of cutting them down.

Dear Scott Aniol, i see your Heart and we must proof all things!!! We lift up with that songs god. It was a big step from the "normal" old church music, i saw it break open and satan wanted stop this art of worship, so i can't say thats all wring, but you have right we must listen what they say - perhaps they don't have all the Erkenntnis??? When i sing to god i such his nearest /heart with his word! Only when we live in his presense , with him in his word ... thats the right way, thats worship , not to live my life away from god and praise. Sometimes we must take our cross in importent Entscheidungen❤️ to do his will, not ours will. - You say it right we must fokus on the lord. And so i understand What you mean and you are afraid of. We must fokus the goal and walk in his word, on "his" way in truth and rightenous. But when we fall: jesus blood is their for us❤️

Nein die worship music ist richtig und wichtig, ein grosser Schritt anderen nicht gläubigen Menschen auch Gott nahezubringen, was Du ansprichst ist die Gefahr die für worshipers bestehen wenn sie es für ihr ego tun oder in diese Richtung geführt werden.
