Vintage Chanel is spectacular and is much better quality than anything Chanel sells these days. Yours is absolutely beautiful, and I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Chloe! So excited for your new special gift! ✨ I purchased a small double flap myself this year and can definitely relate! One small tip I was told at the Chanel store was to open the outside flap first prior to changing the strap from the single to the double so that the hardware doesn’t scratch the lambskin. Hi hi! I haven't noticed any color change on mine. I store it in a cloth bag in my closet when I'm not using it. I haven't used any leather conditioner or cleaner yet, I just try to be careful when I take it out!

Older/vintage bags have the flat lambskin :) They made them more puffy in newer models!
