Your new co-host is a great addition and I think that this type of test is more relevant to the way we actually use cars day to day.

Great video. Isabel was fine, her (very) minor interruptions were not a problem at all and you, as always, were a pro! As long as Isabel is happy and not upset, she's totally fine. How many other jobs can people take their small children to work with them and still get the job done. Great job.

The 360 camera is a must-have feature for me and there just aren't many cars with it in this price range at the moment new or used. Id3 can have it but it's optional, stellantis cars it's usually optional. Things should be better in a few years.

She so looks like your wife Bjorn. She enjoys it with her dad. Melts your heart. All the best and thanks for this drive. BTW, I need to try the waffles too. lol. Bringing her along is fine for drives like this but the real nerdy type of drives, driving alone works best, I think.

I think those trips are great. She gets familiar with being in the car and also learns the english language. Even if she might not understand a lot - for now - later she will have a much better feeling for english because she was exposed to your nice rambling and in-depth knowlege about EV´s etc. Ah yes and Isabel is very cute in the seat :-) Seems like she enjoys it :).

Honestly, I live in North America - and we can't get 80 percent of what you test - BUT I will say this 1000Km challenge is highly relevant here given that our infrastructure is so far behind and our distances are significant between settlements. So i'd hate to see them disappear completely.

27:31 There is a Wikipedia entry for „New car smell“. Some chemicals could have adverse effects on health. It is recommended to drive with open windows to reduce the concentration of chemicals in the cabin air.

I was a bit surprised the boot alone seemed smaller than the ID3 in your banana box test - did you test whether it can fit a baby stroller/pram? The ID3 is pretty good for this. I would agree that when travelling long distancs with family (I have two small kids) this sort of charging performance is basically OK because the kids are slower.

Hi Bjørn,. I think you should keep bringing your child along. I think it shows a more "real world" use case for the cars and it gives you that new aspect to test for families to see which is best. I think it's also quite good to show that you are a family man.

It's interesting how in Australia our design rules don't allow disabling the passenger airbag if fitted, so carseats in the front is too dangerous. It would be awesome if it was allowed, it would be fun to have a kid up front. We do allow kids in the front seat, but only if all the other seats are already occupied. Due to the inability to disable the airbag, it actually makes this situation more dangerous for the child.

Nice video with Isabel but I doubt whether she would like a 1000 km challenge. I guess it will take you more time if you bring her. Taking care of her and you will take longer than the necessary charging time. At least that is my experience when traveling long distance with kids. And as soon she will use a toilet in stead of diaper. The “range” of her blatter will decide your stops.
