I live in Thailand and have this car since Nov. 2023. This car now costs 800.000 Baht here, that is 20.113 Euro. Including 8 years warranty, 2 years insurance, and 8 years yearly service all included. Please realise that the cheapest Tesla cost twice as much here.

Nice to see a short bonnet. No need for a EV to have a massive bonnet wasting space that can be used inside.

Nice car, prefer the MG4 standard range, however, not a fan of the Dolphin front end (those light clusters!).

Just got my Dolphin few weeks ago... Already drove about 1000km with it here in the "Arctic North" of Norway... Heating system could be a bit better for our temperatures up here... If it goes below -10 its struggling a bit sometimes to heat up the inside of the car... But otherwise its really nice, safe and easy to drive! Battery works just fine even in -23c environment and only charging at home with normal 230V and max. 16A.... Great Car for my needs to get to work and around the area... But of course for long Distance, for example down to Germany, i will keep my Volvo XC70 with its 5 cylinder Diesel engine...

Looks pretty good! At least not stuffed with badly overpriced "premium" junk that deteriorates almost as quickly as ordinary interiors! Looks good enough for daily commutes and weekend trips! As well, it won't break your bank account, which is a huge plus for this car...!

Coming from a 2013 Leaf Tekna I like this interior! Materials are the same in most places (hard plastic dash and vegan leather arm rests) but key upgrades like more space for rear passengers, the panoramic roof, better infotainment and equipment. I hear there's a 60W USB C port front and back good enough for a laptop? And you can play videos on the display from a microSD card or USB stick?
@CampGareth
@CampGareth 6 ай бұрын
@bjornnyland I put down the money for a Dolphin after seeing your reviews and going for a test drive. The Leaf was a £30k car when it launched and all that money went on the battery. Now batteries are cheap so you get a nice interior for £30k, it's amazing how far cheap EVs have come. Plus the longest journey I am likely to make takes 1 charge stop now, not 9!

@Bjørnnyland, you have to talk about the weak regen braking
@ChrisPavlides
@ChrisPavlides 3 ай бұрын
It's not weak, it's ok. This is not "one pedal drive though" but to be honest, its the best when this is your first EV. Although if you want more regen, press the brake pedal, thats it.
@Luis-xr9ye
@Luis-xr9ye 3 ай бұрын
@@ChrisPavlides yes it is. I agree it's okay for an EV newbie, but at least let the user choose what they prefer. Even at a high level, regeneration is almost imperceptible. This is particularly important as it is precisely one of the advantages of driving an EV, more convenient and comfortable for the user and most important with a direct impact on the vehicle's efficiency. It's a smaller car and with worse consumption than a 10 years Leaf. I did a test drive and for me it was a no go for this reason!
