The latest news is that BYD supplies EV batteries for Thailand assembly plants from HLI Green Energy/ Indonesia Battery Corp. while waiting for Chinese CATL investment to complete its factory in Indonesia and hopefully this can make BYD's prices in Thailand more competitive. Congratulations to BYD Thailand.

how do you know it's all robot when they employed at least 10,000 workers? robots are also employed human power resources for maintenance, robots are also the cheapest way to manufacture and assemble, it cuts time to 10x vs pure manpower

Why are they excluding the Seagull model? Right hand steering versions of BYD EVs are virtually impossible to actually buy except for these models that they will now be making inside Thailand. The streets of Thailand are very compact. The Dolphin is not all that small of a car... I have ridden in several of them now in Thailand. The Seagull's size is far more preferable for such an application but they are instead leaving it off the list of cars to be made.

Chinese BYD manufacturing is the same process and quality done by Europeans especially Germans, that is why Volvo, Land Rover, BMW, MB, Audio and Volkswagen almost all of their cars all manufactured by Chinese system quality and processing because Chinese metallurgy is the best in the world that western countries cannot compete
