BYD, I think is testing the waters and price elasticity of the market. I totally agree that Dolphin is the right car for India and waiting for it with ears and eyes open. Seal will seal the German coffin box if priced under 50L

They(BYD) should have brought Dolphin to India. and ofcourse they must make it here in India instead of import and assemble. please convey my message to them if you can.

34L for the Atto3 is a big number and doubt it would have lot of adopters.. I myself was very enthusiastic about it but after the price was dropped and the reviews. I am apprehensive about it. BYD really needs to offer some discounts over the ex price for better sales.

Though I agree with you that price is a little bit on the higher side!! But MG ZS EV costs 28.5L on road!! For 6L more you can get the BYD which is lightyears ahead in every aspect compared to the ZS EV! So price is justified, but some discount will be the only way to reach that 15k sales number!!

Totally agree here, ZS ev is built almost here vs CKD of Atto 3 and with ADAS and high driving range and impressive power figures and consistent charging experience and a blade battery that mostly lasts a lifetime, 6L premium due to CKD is easily worth it. In fact I will go on to say that E6 is already superior to most other EVs, if size is not a concern to people, it offers smoother power delivery and handling is very mature and will keep passengers very happy.

BYD atto 3 costs 16l in China. They have to manufacture in India. Even though they manufacture in India and bring down the cost , they probably won't sell it at lower price as we are paying 20l for a car like nexon .

Electric bicycles are part of the pollution solution. Cities need to do more to encourage people to ride bicycles. Safe protected bike lanes and trails are needed so adults and children can ride safely. Speak up for bicycles in your community. Bicycles make life and cities better. Ask your local transportation planner and elected officials to support more protected bike lanes and trails. Children should be riding a bicycle to school and not be driven in a minivan.

BYD atto 3 costs less than 16l in China. BYD should manufacture in India, what kind if nonsense marketing strategy is to sell car at twice it's price and judge market . Make it in India and probably they can sett atto 3 at 20l , people would buy it like crazy. What are we being offered by made in India tara cars at 16l? Nowhere comparable to BYD . We are paying tata such huge money for Nexon , why would they come up with something good .

0:29 You call yourself an EV advocate, but why are you again spreading lies about an EV company ? Some figures from Hyundai Motor Group's electric car sales 2022 without PHEVs: 47 thousands EVs in the first 9 months on the US market 119 thousands EVs in the first 10 months on the European market So only these figures, which do not represent the entire year and all markets including their strong home market, prove that if you say BYD sold more in a month than this company sold in a year, then you are: a) really bad in math b) not interested in Evs as a whole, but only in your favourite brands c) unable to find the correct information, even if it is available in English for free d) being paid by someone to slander this company Personally, I think option D is the correct one because I honestly brought this topic to your attention a few months ago and you are doing it again.

Only Tata is serious. Maruti, MNC Car companies, Mahindra are not showing interest. We need more options - Why not have BYD in India - especially if they are planning to invest in manufacturing in India soon.

They almost do make in India and if economies of scale allow they will manufacture it here, they are not hesitating to do that. BYD did CKD itself to start off, no German car manufacturer is tortured this way.
