Nie zaskoczyło mnie spalanie, fajna analiza. Za to zaskoczyłeś mnie wynikami pozostałych aut a zwłaszcza niskie wyniki toyoty Ravki jak w mieście 4.1 litra 😮

Further proves if you want economy then Toyota have no peers. However you’re gonna have to pay an extra £7500 for an equivalent RAV4 at similar spec.

10l/100km at 140 km/h? Nice, 1 liter less than my Mustang 5.0 :D

0:33 on the right side it says direct drive. It's because of this direct drive from engine to wheels i.e. fixed ratio and there are no gears to select from. I guess the ratio is optimized for 100km/h speed. At 140km/h speed, engine rpm must be very high hence terrible fuel consumption. From car company's point of view, it reduces complexity of powertrain development and it's cheap to make. Technically 2 or 3 gears for such PHEV powertrain would be optimum.

I’d actually like it if you could also test the 2wd versions as the architecture is different to the AWD here. The 2WD has a NA 1.5 Atkinson cycle this AWD has a turbo 1.5 and is thus inherently less efficient. The 2WD also comes with 2 different battery packs, 18.3kw for the boost version and 26.6kw for the Comfort version. Be great to get your hands on the Comfort as I think the results will be significantly different. I think the first ones hit the EU in Dec/Jan.

Are you sure about bigger battery in 2WD? In official spec's there is the same. 26.6 kWh would be visible also because of the weight, but 2WD is lighter than AWD.

@@1001carsyes in the UK there are 3 PHEV models, pretty certain it’s the same in the EU. 1. Boost which is 2WD 18.3kw with NA 1.5ltr engine. 2. Design which is 4WD 18.3kw with 1.5ltr Turbo 3. Comfort which is 2WD 26.6kw with 1.5ltr engine. You tested no2, which is the fastest but least economical by far due to being heavier, twin motor and a Turbo engine… Boost and Comfort are identical bar the bigger LFP battery pack in the comfort. Be really good to see the comfort tested next!

@@HarryWhither so, we do not have comfort version.
