Hi Guys! Well, I made the recommended changes when applying this blue shampoo and, personally, I think having wet hair affected the concentration of the shampoo, therefore, not much happened. Also, no, I cannot keep Vincent. Love you!!!!

I’m in the process of growing out my gray. I still have a little bit of blond in spots and on the ends. The purple Fanola applied on dry hair and left for about 30 minutes makes a huge difference and tones down the blond and keeps the gray looking bright.
@stephanief46304 жыл бұрын
I’m at 6 months in my grow out and I have dark brown hair. I was worried that if I left the blue shampoo on all over that my gray hair would be blue and the brown hair would be less brassy? Is that true or do you just put the shampoo on your dyed hair? Thank you
@jenesoleil39225 жыл бұрын
I saw a slight difference. I think these shampoos have a cumulative effect and you’ll see more results the more you use it.
@ritamerrill32275 жыл бұрын
I haven't used blue shampoos, many reviews said they were drying and contained SLS and such which is actually bad for color treated hair. Instead I got the Matrix blue conditioner and it works pretty well on my highlighted parts, I just leave it on in the shower while I wash my other bits and shave my legs. It leaves my hair well conditioned too. My hair is darker though but maybe give it a try!

Fanola is the only *purple* shampoo that has ever worked on my bleached, yellow hair. I didn’t see much if any change with your hair. It’s so pretty as it is. Are you unhappy with it? If so, I’m sorry it didn’t change.

You are the first youtuber that used this shampoo correctly by putting on gloves first. Bravo, we use this at the salon for customers that have brassy hair. This is not exactly a shampoo, it's a toner in a shampoo. It's not something you use a lot.It will draw out your hair.

Cannot love Vincent more...Wish he was a keeper. Your hair is beautiful. My hair is dark brown no grey and just turned 48. It just gets darker with age. You do not need to change a thing, Lou! Hope your day is fantastic. xoxo #ProudLouzer

I personally think it works the best when using it as a shampoo and letting it sit for 5 min! I’ve been using this stuff for a long time and sometimes I’ll use it to pre-tone clients! Love it!

Welp, here's where I have to say I bought and tried the Joico way back after your video, and it *wrecked* my hair. Granted, I have hair that is getting pretty fright-wiggy with age, but man, that stuff sucked every molecule of moisture out of my hair. I do think it tamed my brassiness, but at wot cost? Also, I do not discern a difference in your hair with this product, so thank you for trying it for me so that I don't have to. Double also, that dog is adorable.

Awww, I'm sorry love. I don't really see a difference. The colored shampoos though have dye in them, so the best way I've found is to use a clarifying shampoo first, then the colored one, leave in a bit, can bag your head too if you want to try some gentle heat. Or wash it one day (or early morn)' then wash with color shampoo the next day (late in evening). Just like when colouring your hair, they clean from styling products and silicones. Personally - just for myself - I've not noticed a difference between applying to dry hair or to wet hair - EXCEPT that when putting on dry hair, it seemed to take three times the amount I'd normally use. No thanks. I use the L'Oreal Expertise blah blah blah purple shampoo. Really REALLY like it. PS - not every head of hair NEEDS a brush. Try a comically large comb, start at the bottom, etc...
@deneenspidel85825 жыл бұрын
I used to be very light blond. I used a purple shampoo and a purple condition. It helped but only after consecutive shampoos. My colourist told me not to use the purple stuff for 2 weeks prior to getting more highlights. Maybe that’s the rule? 2 weeks of use makes a difference?
@nebfronet5 жыл бұрын
There was no difference. I also don’t see brassiness in your color. You want to see a difference, use “purple” toner shampoo. Blue is only for copper/orange. Also, if you want the right product, you can always get advice from your hairdresser. A good video idea would be to test the Fanol BLUE shampoo toner with the product your hairdresser recommends. This way we all will know what really works. ❤️

I put your video up twice minimized side by side each side of your head. I see the Fanola side has made your hair lighter and it also looks more even and less streak strips. I was told by a salon that it takes about 5-6 uses to notice a big difference. I was also told to only use it every few days only. I shampooed my hair first. Then I used a tsp of it on wet short hair bob. I noticed my whites and silver of my hair are shinier and brighter. I left mine on for 2 minutes and rinsed. I used nothing afterwards but a hair dryer. I bought mine at Shoppers drug mart and it is called Light Blue Shade number 03 and I paid $9.99 for 450 ml=15.2 fl ounces.

To me it looks like it got rid of the orange tones, but most of the hair is yellow not orange which is why there's not a huge difference. I would follow up with a purple shampoo to get the yellow brassy tones out.

@tannergrinzel1835 I tried bleaching my hair one more time and then using the fanola blue mixed with the fanola purple on towel dried hair and it worked beautifully. I think my hair needed to me at least a level 8.5-9 before it would tone. I do this everytime I lighten my roots now and my hair is an icey cool toned blonde. I did find y hair was quite dry so I also now use olaplex 2x a week and after about a month my hair is now super soft, hydrated and very blonde :)

Depending on your natural hair color, if it's medium brown, using a neutral blonde 12N will pull red ❎.. 12A- ash blonde is always used to get rid of red tones brassy tones. But the darker your hair, you can still pull brassy.... Always use with 40 volume for maximum lift.. Been doing hair for almost 40 yrs. I'm old lol, 53😭.

Sorry to say...but I have yet to see any change in your colors!! 🙅🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ You mentioned how you just did a root touch up recently...I’m thinking you need to try a different hair color! Maybe try something with either a Violet or Ash (Blue) base, or combo of the 2 ash/violet (AV)...in the same LEVEL COLOR 7/8? OR....After you color, do a TONING treatment with a Level 8 Demi-Permanent hair color (not Wella toners, but a Demi-Permanent) with either Ash, Violet, or Ash-Violet Combo base (8A, 8V, or 8AV DEMI) using only a 10 Developer, and leave on for like 10-15 minutes after you Color to TONE DOWN the “Orange-yellow base color. Worth a try if you haven’t already.. Good Luck!!
