KIA motors has added more UHSS reinforcements into the firewall area and improved the quality of Airbags as well. Earlier generation seltos’s Airbags were bottomed out during GNCAP crash test means the Airbags did not maintain sufficient inflation pressure to give good protection to the head and chest of dummies, thats why it had got 3-star rating marginally. But now with improved Airbags quality and more UHSS reinforcements into firewall area this seltos will easily score atleast 4-star rating in GNCAP

The first gen seltos in the very starting used to have very stiff suspension but Kia themselves realised their mistake and soften it up in the later cars being sold by them(without a facelift) So I do not think now stiff suspension is a problem in Kia cars
