The Byme was fitted on the flight earlier described I also flew the Arrows Pioneer it also handled those winds fine but in non stabilised mode it was uncontrollable. 👍michael

Most RC Planes with the Gyro in 6 AXIS can have the CG totally wrong and fly beautifully, sounds like this may be Your problem? I know this from many a Crush, Kill,, Destroyed Plane. Ahahaa! Have a great Week Michael.

@@jonoedwards4195 your totally correct the stabiliser has an amazing ability to iron out problems with c.g. However I did carefully set the cg on the recommended points perhaps with quite windy conditions would be better to be slightly nose heavy would that give better penetration and thus improve control.

Unreal, micro cheap flight controllers, We have it made in Our RC pastime nowadays! Been finkin bout trying PPM, fitting the wiring, battery and RX in small EDFs without cutting some foam is near impossible. Great show, a beauty Thanks GCRC.

Thank you much Jono! She's a Beauty for sure ;-) I love how well these gyros work without having to configure anything, just PNP. This Hobby just keeps getting better with all the new toys ;-) I'm going to test one out in my Eachine F16 EDF that I converted to a Pusher Motor and Prop with an SBUS RX. Hopefully I'll have that complete and ready for testing in a couple of weeks. If that works well I'll putting these in my other EDF Jets so I can get much more aggressive flights when I have a parachute switch! See you in the Air!

As I have said many time, technology is wonderful. Choose the assisted mode and the mini computer will take care of it. If it wasn't for the simulator I could never have afforded to buy all the planes I have crashed and safe mode made it so much easier ( and less costly) to actually learn to fly the real ones outside. It's a great time for RC. That little bi-motor looks like a lot of fun.

Hi Jack! Yes, I wish could have started on a Plane with a Gyro. I think they are fantastic learning tools and great parachutes to get you out of trouble. I think it would have been much easier for me with my 1st plane. See you in the Air!

@@marielizysurourcq Yes, that's one of the great things about these small planes and that they are so durable due to the low mass of the plane. I would rather risk one of these small planes in strong winds than one of my larger planes. Plus they're so much fun ;-) See you in the Air!

Yup the Byme A is really good specially considering the price and small form factor. Using it on my Eachine F-18 running on 4s in high winds and its pretty much locked on. Though I dont care much for the self leveling mode since it makes for too wide a turn due to the very limited bank angle.

Hi Rodin! Yes, fantastic little gyros. Yep, those bank-n-yank planes make wide turns in beginner mode as that's the downside of not having a rudder. I may MOD my converted Eachine F16 EDF that has a Pusher Motor with a rudder just to see how much that helps in the turns. See you in the Air!

It really is that good and on full power it climbs vertically I frightened myself to death with the high pitched scream of the motors. I uploaded my set up to the rcgroups.com website I greedily have two the first set up with the byme stabiliser the second with the Kopilot and a 2s lion set up I have not flown the latter yet so I am unsure whether it’s capable but will at some point.

Flew my flying fish in Scotland in winds of about 10/12 mph and it flew beautifully if I get round to it I will post the video I made to utube, the only mishap was my spatial distance is rubbish the only tree up there in the mountains I hit, no damage but will I leave in the expletive I used maybe. My Fish setup pretty similar ala landing gear and used a Byme A and the Wfly 201S SBUS receiver - very pleased with both and also just received 5 more of those receivers and Byme A/D's for other projects - btw how is that glider project going?

I just got back with another flight session with the Flying Fish! My absolute favorite sub-250 Factory Plane of all time ;-) I'm glad your setup is working well and that Byme-A Gyro and the WFly SBUS Receiver work fantastic. I haven't started on the Glider Project yet and it will probably be the end of July before I have the time. I still have my Volantex PheonixS Sport Glider I haven't unboxed yet, it's the Kit Version, and I want to get it in the Air before I start another project. I'm so looking forward to that Glider Project though as I think it's going to be Awesome. They're so inexpensive I'm thinking of ordering a couple more of those gliders and I currently have 2 ;-) See you in the Air!

I'm flying with 3S 950mah 25C LIPOs. About 7 minutes flying the way I fly leaving 3.6v per cell.
