I love watching people listen to Kings X songs for the first time. They are incredible and every song is amazing from music to harmonies to even the genius and true blue heart and soul of the lyrics. They are one of a kind! Great reaction video!

Dogman is one of my favorite Kings X albums. So much heavy goodness on this record.

This song hits so hard live. As loud as King's X loves to play, these songs in drop B just thump! It also amazing as the long time KX fans sing the harmonies to all of their songs. I've never seen any other fans do that.

These 3 guys captured a lot of exquisite musical moments. Power, soul and groove. Other albums of theirs cover a wider range, but 'Dogman' really stays in this stylistic lane throughout. It's an incredible record. You'll find some heavy hitters like this song through the discography. Really enjoyed seeing this. Vivid recollection of me trying to process it for the first time too, lol

React to the classic song Pleiades and you will get a good sample of Ty Tabor the guitar player on lead vocals. The songs you have done feature Dug Pinnick on leads. Both are great singers.

Ha! The beginning was sort of lulling you into just a relaxed listen... then BLAM! Uncontrolled full body twitch! And you must mean business when you need something to bite down on! Love it! 😁🥰💙💗

Funny thing about Doug Pinnick and the land of gods that is King's X. This fellow is STILL touring, still recording, well into his 70s with Tabor and Gaskill! And he doesn't seem a day over 40..... I believe I heard him say he was roughly 47 when they recorded Dogman. For some folks who hadn't picked up their previous LPs, Doug's vocal range with a darker tone to their music set so many eyes glued to that stage. Rockers even today hail back to them as heavy influencers of their own work, despite them not receiving the same amount of publicity (that should give anyone a big dose of humility when it comes to words like 'success' and 'influencer' these days. Some people just don't get that some of the most profound influences that change often occur behind-the-scenes). If you're a fan of Hendrix, you should listen to their arrangement of Manic Depression on that same album. It's definitely Doug Pinnick, but oh does he sound freakishly like Jimi in that moment..... . I just earlier commented on Ryan d'BassPlayer's interpretation of Doug P's basslines in this song, thinking I was almost alone in 'Shoes' having such an effect on me (from bassline, to vocals, to Ty Tabor's chord progression, and mostly to the lyrics). It was this very song that in some ways helped my platoon navigate some back-back losses. That song is something that still inspires me today. I'm glad to hear others resonate with it. I know this vid was from 2y ago, but I'm glad to know that people still 'see' this song. Thank you for taking the time to shuffle it back out there for your viewers to take in!

I love your reactions. Please react to an amazing, all-female, heavy metal band from Japan called Lovebites who sing in English and have a pair of super talented guitarists who do insane guitar solos and harmonizing. They won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Please do the live version of the song "Thunder Vengeance". kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4ioaIOneNV6n5Y
