Ma'am, I think one dimension should also be introduced in this effect(not the steps) and that is about the society where these emergencies take place. I mean this effect is a part of psychology which is greatly influenced by the society we live in. Like, this effect might be more prevalent in individualistic societies and that too in urban or metropolitan areas where people feel relatively less connected towards others with respect to other societies/areas.🤔
