@@cutiegurl9996 To be fair, he walks out with a cup, hands her a note that says piss, and that's the initial joke. She must've thought his cup had piss in it then. After that, every time he shows up, she assumes his cup has piss. He just stood around, not much to add to that - the character never said that his cup had coffee. It's not that she "boiled it down" to the piss joke, it's just that such a joke defined the character so she's simply remembering the continuity. Of course, her stomping around and making noise doesn't fit the character at all but I don't think she realized that until later.

Angela made the bit more with her reaction, as Shayne literally said. She was trying to make him laugh, which she succeeded and knew that would work. It's as simple as that. Shayne needs to secretly ask Angela's mom if he could get a copy of a family photo that's hung on a wall or stood on a desk, get it to one of the editors, photoshop himself into it, then give it back to the mom, and just put it on the original portrait. And *_NEVER_* mention it to anyone. So that if Angela ever visits her childhood home, she'd have the chance of casually reminiscing over the photos, and just find The Bystander in one of them. Doesn't matter if it takes days, weeks, months, or years, she would freak the fuck out.
