I only have a picture of the event, but in 1991 my grandmother and her little sister met each other for the first time in 46 years, having been separated by the Iron Curtain since World War II. My grandmother was 86 and her sister was 75 when they met again.

All surprises don't go well. I went to surprise my maternal grandmother at her village last year. I slowly entered in the house but unexpectedly she had a dog pet this time and this dog came from nowhere. I smiled at him but he was very angery to see me there, he started barking non stop and then chasing me.
