Javea is a beautiful place , we have drove for the last 12 years to spain I don't think I will ever fly again, we book an appointment or villa really cheap and stay in all parts of spain I just love it, you should take your van it's lovely driving so many lovely sites and you don't need to go on all toll roads ,every year we spend the whole of August ,mind you we are retired x thanks for showing us around

I WENT TO calpi a while ago and had a boat trip to benidorm a hrs ride the food in the hotel was cruel and unusual my tum tum hasnt recovered since but a nice beach and the bars were ok

I think I went to Javea a few years ago. I seem to remember that there was a Fisherman’s church of unusual design near the old quarter. I went to a lovely cafe which was on a narrow coastal path/promenade only a few yards from the water. It had some lovely conservatory type chairs and was good place to relax and people watch. You obviously like the resort.

I used to live just outside Java. You were in the port, not sure if you went to the Arsenal beach which is the best side for a sandy beach and shops. You should go to Altea after Moraira. The whole area is beautiful and you can go on the Limon express train from Gata de Gorgos to Benidorm.i have lovely memories but I missed family too much and so we returned. Enjoy..

Well !!!! Thankyou sooooooooo much ,, not sure if it was our comment that took you to Javea or not but either way Thankyou Thankyou ,,, we spend 3 to 4months a year in exactly that spot in our Campervan to escape the Brittany winter , we live between Javea and Arenal ,, we walk that little walk you did every day , the bar near the strange church that was full “ Sunny’s Bar “ is my local with great food and very reasonable prices , the bar you had food was rubbish when we went too it expensive and small portions for us northern lads ! The hotel was super and we always wondered if it was nice , Arenal is great too . We are off there again beginning of Nov until March .. we cannot wait … Neil , Liz And Barneyboo the Cockerpoo . Xxxx

Hi James and Helen, if you go as far as Almeria, we stayed at the Best Hotel Mojacar last October, its has 75% Spanish guests, and a very relaxing place on the front with a sea view. We paid 75 Euros for half board, we just walked in and paid at the reception. There was an outside show every night. We were just passing through Almeria, it was not the best province we visited going down the east coast of Spain. Enjoy watching your travels, watch out for that Paisley buddy and his drinking.

The building you saw was a church to the mariners of Javea its like an upturned boat inside quite beautiful it is gorgeous are did you notice the mountain range on the way in it looks like an elephant have a look on way out on way to Benidorm you'll pass a place called Ondara it has a swimming pool just for dogs amazing place and also a wonderful shopping precinct cheap as chips mate I use to take my dogs there we can only go in pool if you have a dog with you 😎......enjoy both

Had many holidays in Javea, the port area is to your left town is behind it. On your right is the Arenal beach, loads of restaurants. Inland lots of nice villages and bars, cafes. Enjoy .

At Malibu in. Los Angeles they have some flat roofed beige building on the beach part of the old movie stars clubs, along the central coast there are movie sets, including a castle by where I lived, once a stats b earcat drove out with actors

Definetly agree on the prawn price methodology , only just started being able to have holidays myself last year after 15 years of not being able to afford it , been mijas pueblo Spain and kefalonia Greece , both highly recommend , think your gunna be quite successful if you are able to do these frequently enough to new locations .
