James, a brilliant rant there mate, you had me in stitches. I can relate to every single thing that you mentioned. I've stopped flying anywhere just because of all the shit that you have to go through. Have a great holiday buddy and keep the vids coming. This is really sad. King Charles needs to have some kind of rejuventation for all historical tourist attractions, like this. This is a treasure that should have someone in hkusekeeping or whomever is responsible for the details. Maybe hire housekepung and maintenance managers with OCD ??? But there should be a fund for this place and someone from a museum to help restore it and keep up with it. Sa,e with thay gorgeous Britannia ? Britanica ? Idk what it is but its another big one. Its a shame :(

If one thinks the airport experience is going to improve, wait until the Biometric System 'kicks in' for Brits travelling abroad from November (🧐🤔).. I repaired that horse probably about 18 years ago, someone had stolen its front legs 😂I believe it was made from scrap by local students. Done lots of work around Coventry back then, it wasnt my favourite place to work to be honest.

That pie looks amazing and I would be so disappointed not to drench the crust in Hendo's ! You need to get a small bottle and keep in your handbag Helen lol When my niece got married she had pie, chips and peas for her wedding meal with mini bottles of Hendo's with their names on LOL True Northerners 🤣

Ha that was funny James. Iv just recently come back from Norway for a holiday with my daughters and i havent flown for years and everything you just said i could relate too ha brill. What a difference airport in Norway was so calm and collected compared to manchester .id recommend norway /oslo for a break if you haven't been.bit expensive mind.theyre aldi equivalent seems more like our waitrose prices .

Before we retired the girls at work advised us to get what they called Teddy Bear Bedding, they said you wont even need a hot water bottle when you get in bed because it is so warm, i had my doubts to be honest, so we tried it this winter gone, and they were totally right, we got the bottom sheet, quilt cover and pillow cases, and we were never cold during the winter months. We thought it may be an idea for you in your van now that it is getting a bit chillier?

Really enjoyed airport rant. Hilarious. We went shopping today felt calm when we left home but now in need of darkened room. Double store doors and they only unlock one. People who enter a store and then stop still within the threshold. People who walk in the centre of staircase. People who stop to look at phone just before getting on escalator and then look at u as pervert because you nearly bumped into them. People who park beside you in a totally empty car park. We could go on. Keep entertaining us. Brilliant.
