This will be one of the most watched Bowl games in history. The combination of Coach Prime’s stardom & what he’s brought to CO coupled with the massive worldwide BYU fan base it’s gonna be electric! No team has more fans at away games than BYU. Why did the Big 12 commissioner talk about playing in Mexico City? … BYU, their fan base and the revenue they bring in from viewers. Their brand is massive & worldwide. If you don’t know this you haven’t watched their games or know much about their program & it’s history. CO’s popularity is only recent because of Coach Prime and their programs success this year. THIS is the Bowl game & matchup I was hoping for. They haven’t played since 1988! The exposure & revenue it’ll bring in to the BIG 12 will be massive! Hopefully it’s an entertaining game for all college football fans watching!

As a BYU fan I did not want this matchup. I wanted somebody out of conference. This was mostly because i don't think we will match up well against the Buffs. I'm scared that we'll get taken to the woodshed, especially if we come out flat like we did against Kansas and the first half against ASU. I think you're taking his comments wrong. He said he doesn't care that Dieon makes Colorado the marquee team because that will bring more eyes to the game BYU is playing in. Not a slight at all. That other comment about being picked first was talking about the non-PAC12 side of the game. That PAC12 side could only be Colorado. That decsion was already made before BYU was picked so he was talking about the BIG12 side. There were only 4 teams to pick from on the PAC12 side and only 2 were bowl eligible and one is headed to CFP. That only left Colorado. This is a non issue.
