As an active and believing member, I struggle with the poor treatment of women in the Old Testament. Why there wasn't a law that said not to touch a woman or some line of protection. And "Thou shalt not own another person". I was particularly interested in Exodus 21 and would not have understood on my own that "an eye for an eye" meant to treat your neighbor's eye as your own. I love these round table discussions, though. They're always informative.
