what I wouldn't give to come and spend time with you and your darling chickens and bunnies, have some tea, do some crafts and just chat. I have watched many of your videos and I believe we are kindreds. you remind me of ME!!!! My husband even said we are alike. Alas, I am in Ontario Canada and you are much too far away. I will continue to look forward to your videos. Keep being you, you're awesome! Also, you are such a wonderful teacher!

Great tips for working with links. The multiple screens in your vids are an HUGE teaching tool! I'm working w/ Sterling Silver, Brass & Copper and cerate patinas on all of them. My rings are quite a bit smaller as I'm creating necklaces that should hang like a scarf.

Hi Yvonne. I just love your art. You are so talented and inspiring. I have never done work with wire and now I want to try it. I just need to know where you get your wire and findings? I just love all the pretty colors. Also, does the copper ever leave green marks on your skin? I have always heard that was a problem with copper and some other metals. Thank you.

Cute earring Yvonne! Where do you get your colored jump rings? Or do you make them yourself? Do you sell the colored ones?

Heya, Lee! I get my colored rings from www.theringlord.com I wish I were up to doing my own anodizing, but I think that is farther off in my future!

Why do you sometimes use the bright aluminum and other times the anodized ones? Do you buy both types from Ring lord? I took a look at their website and I am frankly lost in the different choices of product. I can't afford to buy twelve kinds of wire gages and colors...

Heya, Jadzia! the bright aluminum is a cleaner aluminum alloy that I use when I just want plain silver toned rings. The anodized aluminum gives me splashes of durable color. I coil and cut my own bright aluminum and buy my anodized from the ring lord. it can get really overwhelming as a beginner to go to their website because its hard to know what to pick. If i could make a recommendation to my past self, I would recommend 16ga 1/4 or 18ga 3/16 in a few metal types; nickel silver, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. its a versatile ring size and will give you good working idea of what each metal is like to work with as well as how the final pieces compare to each other. I use both of these rings sizes quite a bit for euro 4-1, half persian 3-1, byzantine, spiral, and the two of them together for celtic vision variations, euro 4-1 variations, and these are just the few I can think of off the top of my head. I hope this was helpful, and happy crafting!

very nice...i think tho that maybe the three camera angles is a little much...it does cover a good deal of the main view. Looks awesome tho!

I should check out your chain mail kits, I also want to get a big kit from the Ring Lord in the future too to try out some different sizes and stuff but I may want to start smaller.
