Colin is such a good craftsperson when it comes to these chainmaille and other projects. She never scratches her rings! I guess it takes practice to know how to do that. This is a great project in itself, and it inspires the creativeness in me to think of variations on the theme. Great video! Beaducation, you need to give Colin a raise! She deserves it!

Not only do you make it look so easy, but you do it with such grace. I am encouraged to try. As a beginner at jewelry making, and love wire jewelry, you have given me the courage to try it. The earrings are stunning!

If you're good at tavern puzzles, this project is for you. I spent one full hour trying to get the first captured 6mm ring in place. 60 minutes of my life I will never get back. I bow to you chain maillers out there - this is complicated stuff!

Seems when swiveling the loop back and forth so much is equivalent to rocking a metal piece back in forth which pops to snap piece into 2. Why do I see so many people do this? There must be a reason? To weaken it at opposite end? Ive had jewelry break exactly at opposite end. I am not being accusing just really wondering.
@beaducation Жыл бұрын
You are correct that over rocking it back and forth can snap it because that rocking hardens it. And that is just the point, by hardening it a little (not over doing it) then it sets the shape
